Nonstick coat
The adhesion of liquids (cleaning agents, adhesives, paints, solvents, polar and nonpolar liquids) to surfaces, i.e. their wetting properties, can be changed by coating the surface by means of plasma processes. One option to change the wettability in particular of plastics is coating with HMDSO, resulting in a poorer adhesion (anti-adhesive) of water to the treated surface. Nonstick coats always increase the contact angle of the liquid on the surface.
Non-stick coatings can be achieved by plasma polymerisation in low-pressure plasma from Diener electronic. You can find our range of low-pressure plasma systems here.
