The clean-room of our affiliate Diener Plasma is used for surface treatment of sensitive electronic and medical components which require handling in a controlled area. The clean-room houses various plasma systems with multi-tier product carriers and rotary drums.
ISO 14644-1 + ESC compatible
The clean-room of Diener Plasma GmbH & Co. KG, which was certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 13485:2016, was classified as clean-room class 8 pursuant to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 in January 2011. This clean-room class is checked and confirmed annually.
The clean-room is fully equipped with ESC protection and thus suitable for treatment of sensitive components. This is ensured by ESC access control at the entrance area which only allows releases the door if the employee is wearing the appropriate ESC clothing.
The clean-room features a tier system Tetra 100 LF PC on which many different products and components can be treated on various product carriers using the seven tier assembly. Furthermore, a rotary drum system TETRA 50 LF PC is provided which treats a wide range of volumes of bulk materials quickly and efficiently. The sophisticated design of the rotary drum ensures that all sides of the products and components receive optimum plasma treatment. The Pico UHP is used to clean components in a glass vacuum chamber.
The system software allows access to previous processes at any time, thus ensuring traceability.
