Anti-fingerprint

Fingerprints are unsightly on many surfaces, particularly on metal or high-gloss coatings; they are also very hard to remove from matt metal surfaces. This can be remedied by oil-repellent (anti-fingerprint) coats with a particularly low surface energy (< 15 mN/m), which are less prone to show fingerprints from the outset. Anti-fingerprint coats are recommended for all objects with an attractive exterior which are frequently touched by the users, i.e. high-quality kitchen and furnishing items (door fittings, TV sets), sanitary equipment (in particular water fittings and mirrors) but also hunting and sporting weapons as well as sporting trophies such as cups.
