Textile hydrophobing

Applying a water-repellent layer to textiles by means of plasma treatment. Hydrophobisation by plasma treatment creates functional textiles with water-repellent properties. Functionalisation of the fibre by plasma results in high adhesion, which can reinforce or even replace the effect of silanisation.
