Inductive plasma

Plasma in which the electrons are not excited by an electric alternating field but under alternating voltage by an external induction coil. The resulting plasma is stable at a low vacuum at regular pressure. The temperature of this type of "plasma flame" is in the range of 10000 to 20000 K.
