Advanced composites

Advanced composites, continuous reinforcement fibres of extreme stiffness and/or strength are embedded aligned in a (plastic, metal, ceramic) matrix material. In this way, the highest possible stiffness and strength can be achieved.<br/>Generally, advanced composites are anisotropic.the substrates to remove contaminations. Thanks to the plasma surface treatment, an optimisation can be achieved. Plasma systems in the roll-to-roll process have been specially developed for almost continuous fibres.
