Printed circuit board
Board as a carrier of electronic components. Printed circuit board or PCBfor short. Practically all electronic devices are equipped with several PCBs full of electronic circuits. Printed circuit boards consist of a highly insulating plastic, usually a glass fibre reinforced resin which provides more stability. The board is equipped with conductors and contact points applied in a photolithography process for electrical connection of the components. For etching the conductors and subsequent removal of the photoresist, plasma technology has become the method of choice.
