Plasma density

Proportion of the ions in relation to the non-ionised atoms or molecules in a plasma. Generally, not all atoms or molecules in a plasma will be ionized, because parallel to ionisation, continuous recombination of electrons and ions occurs.
The higher the excitation power and the lower the gas density, the higher the plasma density.
