Microscope slide

Microscope slide are glass plates on which small objects are mounted. Then, a cover glass is placed over the objects for examination under a microscope. There are different microscope slides, e.g. microscope slides with wells for examination of liquids. The glass is streak-free and colourless and the surface is finely polished. This provides for convenient examination of various materials, fabrics etc. which have been treated with plasma.
