KHz plasma system

Low-pressure plasma system in which the plasma is excited by HF fields in the KHz band. For technical purposes, the frequency 40 KHz is approved. This is the lowest frequency used in plasma technology. Compared to GHz systems and microwave systems, KHz plasma systems are simple, robust and inexpensive, but they cannot provide the power required for etching and coating processes.
