Generator

In plasma technology, the unit which provides the voltage (usually AC voltage) for excitation of the plasma is referred to as the ‘generator’. On the basis of the frequency of the AC voltage generated, a distinction is made between LF generators (40kHz), RF generators (13.56/27.12 MHz) and microwave generators (2.45 GHz).
