Flame treatment

Method for pretreatment of non-polar materials by activation to make surfaces gluable. An open, cleanly burning gas flame is briefly guided over the substrate surface (mostly plastic), generating polar chemical groups on the surface which improve the wetting properties and adhesion of the coat to be applied.
