Downstream plasma

Often, low-pressure plasma is generated in the treatment chamber. But if it is not desirable that highly aggressive UV radiation acts on the products to be treated, the plasma can also be generated in a separate chamber. Radicals and ions flow into the treatment chamber, but the UV radiation is shielded.
