Bias voltage

If a DC component is superimposed on an electrode operated with AC voltage, this DC component is referred to as bias voltage. In low-pressure plasma, the self-bias voltage caused by charging is used for ion etching.

The bias voltage can be measured with the bias voltage measuring device, which is available for kHz and MHz generators.
