Sharp USA Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

Sharp USA has a MAP policy in effect on all consumer sound systems, and various other consumer products. This means that a Sharp Authorized retailer is not allowed to advertise a price below the MAP price. Although we sell unit below MAP pricing, in order to maintain our Authorized Retailer Status we are not allowed to post this price.

Should you visit a site that advertises a price below MAP (see below) they are not an Authorized Retailer and are not getting the product through proper channels. This will affect your rebate status and possible your warranty. The origin of the product may also be in question. (B stock, Gray market etc)

Sharp USA has put these policies in place to protect you, the consumer, from dealers who have no knowledge of the products, provide no support and in some cases misrepresent the product availability and history.
